Thanks Guys for the info, The doors are very similar to pictures of the American Beauty pump in the ID book but what threw me off is the lock in the middle of the door and the lower ad glass opening. With you Guys help I found a picture of the pump. Thanks again

American 900 came out with two different door opening mechanisms. Most of the ones I have had or seen used the lock and key as pictured. A few of them also had a side access door similar to a Wayne 80 or Bennett 700/900 series that had a lever to turn to release the door. I'm guessing the door was used with the earlier production based on seeing the aluminum faces used on these models. Every keyed door that I have seen used porcelain faces on the pump. This is only my assumption based with no historical facts. You know what happens when you ASSUME! Brady
