I have a side panel that is covered in porcelain. The panel needs to be massaged back into shape without breaking too much of the porcelain.

Who do you know that can do this work?

There is no way of really fixing it. You can brush on paint to the damaged areas but thats about it. You may have to color match some paint and then sandblast the panel to remove the porcelain. Then you can do the bodywork and respray the panel.

Ok, the area has already lost the porcelain in the area I was just hoping to reshape the metal back into position and then leave the damaged area alone. Not looking to restore back to damage free.

Just remember that porcelain is a glass frit that has been heated. Glass being the primary word here. Doing any work to the damaged area would most likely cause new flaking of the porcelain. No easy fix other than do what Dave said. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

If you want to patch the spot you can reshape the spot, skim coat with body filler, color match, and spray the effected area, Sign restorers do it all the time. It is certainly an art to repair and blend it in but it can be done.

There are places in the US that can do porcelain repair, but they really don't do any panel straightening.
Mostly their work consists of removing the old porcelain layer and applying a new layer of porcelain. I have a porcelain Cities Service pump and it was missing a panel when I acquired it. I simply made a panel to fit the spot and then sent it off to be porcelain coated. Came out perfect!

Which company did you use, several are listed on Google. Have a sink in which I would like to get done.

That would work if the first attempt to "move" the metal fails. I too would like to know who you used so I can have this company as plan B.
