Wow, nice. He would like both. I'm not your son, however I have no problem going up for adoption.

Like the bold graphics of the DX.

And if your son is tired of that Peggy, I know this nice lady in Maryland who would be happy to accept her as a Christmas gift from a perfect stranger! lol

If he is old enough and understands that you are planning on putting away some assets which you will use to pay for his tuition to Harvard or Yale, I think you should always tell him, (something that I told my new wife [30 years ago]), that, do not fall in love with anything in this hobby.

Yes, I do have a lot of petro literature, but the hard stuff (gas pumps, globes, signs) were always for sale. The sale of these items provided me with more money to purchase literature.

In your case, if prices of signs start to slide, sell them, put the money in the bank.

Every hobby will eventually come to an end, just look at soda machines, jute boxes, cash registers, lunch boxes, I could go on.

You do not have a few signs, you have assets, sell it when the market is hot, put the money in the bank.

Everyone thinks that things will last forever, I have married three times, I am an expert on how long things last.

I decided to edit what I said above. Give your son something that he will love, but 'you" should look at your collection, sell something that really brings in good money, put that in a fund to support his education. Belive me, he will appreciate that more when he trying to figure out how to pay for one more semister of college. I had to sell Fuller brushes to pay for my last semister.

Based on the space it would leave on the wall I decided to go with the KENDALL sign. Not quite as noticeable.Needless to say Frank was quite happy!
