So many handles! Which handles are correct for a 1941 A-38? Want to try and find a period correct handle and perhaps a used hose as well.

Thanks for the help!

Happy holidays!

grantg,

In my 41 file drawers filled with gas pump literature the only mention of the word "handle" is when the word is used to describe the turn back mechanism for the computer.

I don't know if it is some parts of the country, or whatever, that people call what the petroleum industry called a nozzle, a handle. I hope you can see, that calling it a handle here on OG the first response will be, are you asking about the nozzle.

If you want to know a little more about nozzles go to this page of my website. http://petrolianacollectibles.com/gas%20pump%20nozzles.htm

If you want to go directly to the National A-38 nozzle section go to: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/national%20nozzles.htm

If you want to see more information about your pump go to: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/gas%20pump%20literature.htm

Most awesome thank you very much! Think just a rookie issue by calling a nozzle a handle!

Again, thank you very much Jack your kindness is very appreciated.

Jack, I reviewed the nozzle section you sent. Very helpful. Do you have any literature on the Powell line of nozzles? You said to email you if a nozzle manufacture was missing in the list.

Regards

Grant
