I'm working with a company who think they can manufacture large diameter snap rings for a couple of pumps I'm working on. They are very expensive though so if others need your diameter that would help your minimum order which is 10 rings. It will cost you about $800.00 for 10 rings. The style is not exactly the same but close. Ain't cheap but try and find them.

I just checked my Eire and the OD seems to be 9 3/4" which they can make and may have in stock which one would only hope would be cheaper. The rings I need are larger so the cost reflects that.

I'm still working with them to see if this will be doable and if all goes well with my snap rings I will give the contact info.

Any local sheet metal shop should be able to roll you some wire to work for this.

$80.00 each is a ridiculous price.

I retail 16.5" snap rings for metal globe bodies for only $10.00 each and that includes a small profit. Mine are probably slightly under 1/8" diameter wire.

Globe rings and face plate glass snap ring are way different, not even the same kind of metal. Also, snap rings are flat 3/32" in thickness, widths vary per pump and obviously the OD. I agree they ain't cheap as I said.

Last Erie 753 I did used my local 3-D printing company printed them out in steel in a couple hours. Think I paid $23 for 4.
