What was the color of gas in the 1920's?

I have a visible pump and was going to set some window tint (not adhered to the glass but unrolled inside) to simulate a few gallons of gas.

worked in a refinery & we used different colors for different blends, IMO in the 20's seemed to be a yellowish, orangeish clear .. ... cool

Somewhere in my files I have an advertisement for a company that supplied the colors used in gasoline. They offered all kinds of colors.
