Need more knowledge than I have, is this real and what might it be worth, guy told me it was found in old station but never was put in, said it was to go in the eave of the building, I have no reason to not believe him cause he wasn't trying to sell it to me

Shown here are three Texaco leaded glass inserts (2 globes and 1 window insert) from the Henderson/Benjamin globe CD. In all three cases the "T" is completely different than yours. Based on that, I would say yours is a fake/copy. Or was it just done in a different time period by a different manufacturer? I kinda doubt it though. From my novice experience, it seems Texaco is pretty controlled and consistent with their logo!
Just my 2 cents

I think we spoke before this is phony nothing right about it!!! The outer ring may be real which is worthless...Original have supports on the back, color on green way wrong, etc. Scott B.

This is what Scott was talking about. Notice the supports. I have not cleaned the paint obviously, but here is a real one.
