Hello everyone. I am fairly new to collecting old gas signs and recently picked these up. I am certain the reg Mobilgas is authentic but I have never seen one like the Aircraft one. I have seen some that say Aero though but no luck finding one like this on the internet so far. Any thoughts?

Thanks guys! Thanks Mike, I looked on here under mobilgas pump signs and saw a few but did not see that one. Already mounted them on an old metal cabinet in the garage. My first 2 mobil signs I have purchased so far, paid 200.00 for the pair so I think I did pretty good.

Ummmmmmm, I'd say you did VERY well if you paid $200 for the pair. You must not know what the aircraft signs are valued at!
Good job, that's a helluva buy!

Yes they were priced at 100.00 each so I took a chance not knowing much if anything at all about the Aircraft sign but I thought if it turned out to be a repro it was still cool for 100.00. No idea what the value is on the Aircraft sign. Mike posted a link on here and someone posted a book value of rare and 1400 mint condition from a 1998 price guide. Not sure it that holds today or not.

Wow, I kinda thought it might be but was not sure. I have been collecting a little of everything since 1994, if its old and cool I usually buy it and have learned if you have never seen one and the price is right then you better buy it. Especially when you look online these days and cannot find one then you pretty much know its possibly rare. Thanks cggas! I appreciate the info from everyone! Feels like Christmas in July.
