Did they make texaco door stops? How can you spot a real one if they made them? aLLAN
In desperate need of anything gas and meeting other guys with insatiable need to talk gas.

Back in 1990 these started to show up. I purchased a number of them and was selling them for $12.00-$14.00 whatever. There were guys who were buying them and they tossed them out in a field during the winter so that they would rust and look old.
Fact: Texaco never made a door stop, all fake.

I bought one, knowing it was fake, to use as...get ready...a door stop to my oil and gas room. LOL....
