I for one will not point fingers without 100% of the facts, (as I have been on the wrong end and been accused before and when the end rusult came out a different outcome than expected happened), but it does sound like the cards are falling in the direction of guilt. If that is the fact, then I hope the person responsible is caught. This hobby has enough drama without this kind of stuff happening. Alost makes you scared to go to the bathroom and leave your stuff unattended at a show. I hope this can be resolved quickly.

Shouldnt be too hard too catch up with.If he is dumb enough to not take anything very valuable he will be found in the end. I wonder how the auction handles this with the consigner of the items?

I would rule out Dom idoni since he; #1-Doesn't dress that nice. #2-Is much smaller physically than the two guys shown. #3-knew better than to show up at Des Moines
let's hope this case get's settled soon and the owner gets reimbursed.

Is Dom still involved in the hobby? I haven't seen him since he was supposedly led out of Mason-Dixon Gas in handcuffs...badabing badaboom!
I was downstairs and missed the spectacle, but an officer came down to ask if anyone there had any dealings with him. Thankfully I hadn't...
Sure hope they catch the culprits responsible for the theft at Iowa Gas...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Does anyone know exactly what happened with little Dom at the Gas Bash? I also heard that he was arrested the Sunday of the last Gas Bash in Columbia, MO. and charged with 3rd degree assault.
Anyone know what happened there?

Glad to hear it was a happy ending to the story. When you consider the facts however, phony phone number, plus an address that was an empty lot, coupled with leaving the auction premises without paying for the items, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the original intentions of the bidder, before the auctioneer did his homework and tracked the buyer down.

Oils well that ends well..
Bet he goes on the blocked bidder list.. embarassing..
I actually think that they did not go after big ticket stuff to attract less attention and increase chance of pulling it off!
