I just bought this old station but dont have much info on what brand this station was. Appears to be from the 1940s.

Any help is much appreciated

Try the local library to see if they have an old city directory or Yellow Pages to look up that address or intersection.
Cool looking rounded front to the station building.

That is cool. I found this picture from Google street view, from 2008. But if, you live there, I'm sure you remember it in 2008.. LOL

Maybe Richfield, the Richfield bird that was die cut would also be mounted above the engine.

If you county has a Historical Society, they might have both members who remember what it was and/or old photos of the town that may include a photo of your station. Historical societies are great resources--and many gladly accept folks donating old photos. If your county does not have one, check with your state historical society to see who they know or what resources might help.

Sounds like a fun project--we'd love you to post any photos in the Showcase and Stories forum, of your restoration as you go.

One of the Mobil oil companies is a possibility , however , Sinclair did use the sectioned sales office too. As Nicole mentioned , going to a library and digging through old commercial telephone directories has been the most successful way I have . From there , take the oldest listing to the City Hall for the possibility of a set of building plans or Building permit .

see ya on the road folks !
