40° and sunny, haven't said that in a long time. Finally getting some reasonable weather around here. The ground is still really wet with some puddles but it's headed in the right direction.

Sad to hear about Barbara Ford, very cool lady, RIP.

Well that's it for me, have a great day everyone, be warm and safe.

Good Morning Everyone,

Another morning starting in the 30s, but at least it's above freezing. Partly sunny going to the mid-50s. Yesterday was very windy, today not so much.

Maureen starts today doing the prep work for the big community fried chicken dinner after church on Sunday. I'll be without adult supervision most of the daylight hours from now through the weekend. What could happen?

Have a great Thursday out there in Oldgasland

Morning all. Same weather in this corner of Missouri as Jim's neck of the woods. Not too bad with the sunshine. Got notice that the new gas tank for my boat was shipped today so I need to get the rest of the prep work done on the hull for that. Had to cut the floor out to replace the tank, not very much fun. The way they build boats amazes me. Nobody figures on ever replacing many components I guess. It's the same workmanship I see on most RVs too. You have to be pretty handy to own either or maintenance costs will take the fun out of it real quick. But here I am, proud owner of several so no use griping. Have a great day......GB

Morning all! Daily temps are in the 40's now and I fear it spells out the demise of all the ice on our lake! It will take at least a week to deteriorate it to the point where its unsafe for travel, but we have sure gotten a great extended ice fishing season out of it! We should be able to get a couple more days in before the sun destroys the composition of the ice. I guess if the ice was there all year around, I wouldn't get anything done! LOL Heres a picture of two nice walleye's that the Warden and I caught on Tuesday night. Both are 24 inchers, and we release everything over 20 inches. The best eaters are between 16 and 20 inches and we believe those big fish are needed to keep the fishery going! Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN

Good afternoon gang!

It has been a busy week for me so far, I am glad it is just about over with. The weather has finally turned for the better, looks like pretty much all the snow we got last weekend is gone. Bobbie and I are heading out to the cabin this weekend, looks like 60's are possible!

Have a good day everybody!

Checking in. Another nice day here. Next 10 days no rain and temp warming to low 70's during the day and high 40's at night. Got some spraying done this morning. Off to the shop. Richard

Kevin's delusional. Everywhere else we are hoping for that ice to disappear the snow to melt and the golf to start.
