Does anyone know how to interpret the serial number on a Bennett 541 to identify when it was made, if that info is in the serial number? It is a Bennett 541, code FZ, originally done in Sinclaire H-C. I know it was made 1939 to 1941, but the customer I am restoring it for would like a little more specific date. The serial number is M 33449 S. It also has a specification number on the data plate that is GD1471003

It is in the blue book under John Wood Co. or SSE. The letter "M" is the date code. Off the top of my head I do not know the year. Will have to check the blue book later.
