Picked up two Fry's at a local farm sale a few weeks back.

Both had this flat metal lever near the gate valves. Anyone know what purpose it served?

Could it have been a lever to shut off the electric?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Thanks for your thoughts on this Frank, could take one of the skins off but won't be hanging onto them so will let the next guy solve the mystery.
