I'm in need of a low profile metal globe 15" body
Original or repop does not matter as long as it's complete.

I'll tell you, I wish just 2 yrs ago I would have bought ever original globe body I saw!! They seem to be getting tough to come by and the prices are up 2.5X!

Big difference in price of repop vs original. Believe Mike Slama still sells repops

Talk to Mike 18 months ago ,he didn't have any and just got big order of high profiles. Didn't know when or if he would restock as he bought in bulk and was a major investment.
Might be worth while to check with him. He said didn't have much interest compared to high profile. But now we can't get them ever body wants one right.

These were from a bulk plant find at the end of last year that called me. I had the opportunity to buy all the globes, signs and everything else but I didn't have the scratch and someone with the initials of JR. flew in, called in a moving truck, paid the man and packed it all into the moving truck to be driven back to his house and he flew out a couple hours later!
Oh to have a full bank account!!
I have checked on many of the websites but no one is repopping these anymore that I could find.

Story was that the Associated dealer lost the dealers license in 1952 and shuttered the bulk plant with what supplies there were in there at the time and opened up another business in a different part of the town. Here is the building as it was when I was there...
