I've recently came across a Ferro 100 clock face however I've not seen much on them in the forum , I'm curious as to its rarity, is this a desirable pump given that the company was only in business for 1 or 2 years I believe ?

Appreciate any feedback regarding this particular pump

Thank you

A few years back, I was bidding on one at an auction near my house in Michigan. Several of us were bidding. A phone bidder in California won! They are not very common.

If I remember correctly, the one at the auction went for $3100 (several bidders). Jacks new book values them at $1800.

They're around. There was one on ebay a while back. Not an easy pump to find though. I think it's worth quite a bit more than $1800 if it's complete.

Ferro pumps were made in Cleveland and somewhat more common than Milestone (also made in Cleveland). Living in Northeast Ohio I do run across them from time to time. I found one on a farm in Chardon a few years back (which is close to Cleveland). Milestone was the company that was only in business for a couple of years because the building where they were manufactured downtown on Euclid burnt down. The Ferro Corporation is still going strong nowadays in Cleveland. Regardless Doug, that's not a pump to be disappointed in, I haven't seen you in a couple of years now but I hope you and Wayne are doing well up there in Canada! Take Care!
