All of the Texaco Fire-Chief 12" x 18" pumps plates that I can find are pictured with a white back. This one has a green back that is typical of older signs, but did this particular sign ever have a green back like this? Date stamp is 3-1-52
Thanks!!

I have seen green backs on a few original Texaco pump plates over the years. The one pictured looks original to me.
