I thought maybe you history buffs would get a kick out of reading my grandpa's actual list of gas station equipment purchased (quantity & total price) and the list of inventory he purchased to start his transition from farming in 1938 to owning and operating his first gas station in Wynot, Nebraska.

Pics of front and back of gas station in 1938 from what I know. My grandparents are pictured below; the two on the right.

Pretty neat to see the history being preserved! I also have the original purchase contract for one of my Great Grandfather's Texaco stations, and I also have pictures of his parents (my Great-Great Grandparent's) Texaco station in Garfield, NM from back in the 30's, another one of the same station in the 60's, early 90's, and one I took in November of last year when I drove through the town on my move to NC.

Looked like a teeny station, but what more did you need at that time?!

1938 they was still crawling out of the depression years.
