Cool sign, found no auctions or pictures of this sign anywhere. Coming out of Oklahoma would make sense. Oil coming out of that area apparently caused some problems. There was an Osage Oil company, see their stock certificates online

Thanks for the reply’s, that’s about the only info I found also.
The sign is hand painted. Paid $600 which I think was a decent price. Just wish a had little history with it. None the less it will look good on the wall

Sometimes you just have to kick digging... I'd contact the Osage County historical society in Kansas, shoot them a picture of the sign, maybe someone there will remember it? There's a Osage, Oklahoma as well could be a historical society there. I find the historical societies are pretty helpful generally and kind of bored, which is good! Would help the value if you could find where its from.

If memory serves me correct there was an Osage globe that turned up 10-15 years ago in Florida. It was offered to me but I didn't pull the trigger fast enough, I think Scott B wound up with it.

Lance, sure that was a killer globe!

Travis, found this old post on oldgas. Looks like Osage historical society is definitely into gas stuff, they preserved a gas station:
