Started collecting small advertising items from gas & oil companies when I had to downsize the collecting space I had. Still on the hunt.

😍 I love it, I thought I had a lot of full matchbooks but that’s impressive. What do you use as frames?
Looking for Michelin items + NJ oil company related items (Mohawk, Guardian, Whiz, etc) + animal-related petroliana + Gargoyle/Shell/Sinclair items

Picture frames. Hunt for ones that are reasonably deep so you can make a grid from basswood or balsa to hold them in place. I had them in a box for a long time and wanted a better way to show them off than putting them in a notebook with the clear sleeves. I like the industrial advertising art involved with the matchbook.

That looks great! Nice job on setting them up in the frame.
