I have an opportunity to buy a Gilbarco 86. The front bezels appear to be smooth on top, as opposed to the vertical lines.
Do you think this was filler, or did they have a ‘smooth’ version? I have not seen it in person. All I have is the picture, and if I can’t tell if it had vertical lines.
I am just wondering in case I have to buy new bezels, if these ones can’t be cleaned (if it is some sort of filler).
Thanks, Steve

These two look smooth to me, but hard to tell, when I zoom in (it's blurry). And the one guy hasn't logged onto OldGas in 9 or 10 months. Ryan Underthun, If your out there and see this, and if you own the pump in the second link, can you please help? http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=616430http://www.thepumpdump.com/parts/main.php?g2_itemId=306Thank you all for any help, Steve

There is no filler on the bezel. There is a piece of ribbed trim missing. They just snap on, so they can come off easy.

You can use some aftermarket automotive stick on molding cut in strips like I did to this one. The second picture is original.

Matt, would you be kind enough to post your source for the aftermarket automotive stick on molding you used? Thanks

I got the molding from work (I work in a body shop) but it is available at auto parts stores, automotive paint & supplies stores or it can be found online. Look or ask for half round. It comes in many widths. I will measure a rib on an original and measure what I used. Any size will work as long as they fit in between the ends.

Does anyone re-pop that trim piece? I don’t see it anywhere (including Ron Scobie). But if anyone knows someone reproducing it, that’d be great. If not I’m gonna use the automotive trim.
Thanks, Steve
