Hello All!
My name is Sydney and I have always been interested in the gas and oil collecting but havent really made a push into until these last few months. Gas and oil isn't my main area collecting as WWII militaria is but I have gained SO much knowledge for that hobby from forums that I hope to do the same here.
Look forward to learning and getting to know some you.
Best,
Sydney

Dan, I am actually starting to put a stop to my militaria collecting. Its hard trying to find the things I still need/want. I hope to aid these needs with getting into this area of collecting!

Hi Sydney, I have been collecting WWII militaria for about 25 years now. You're right, it's getting harder to find the stuff nowadays. It doesn't help that I have all the common stuff I want and the only things still "on the list" are hard to find and expensive!

Welcome to gas & oil land!

Hello Sydney and welcome! Like others here, I started with collecting gas & oil stuff and about two years ago moved into collecting certain WWI militaria as well (giving up model railroading to make room). Going to swap meets, car shows, antique shows, shops, etc., is a lot more fun (and expensive) when you have multiple hobbies.
