I am restoring my first pump. It's a Tokheim 39 short.

Have any of you ever mounted a small electric motor so you can turn on a switch and turn the computer to make it look like it's pumping gas?

If so, what size/kind of motor did you use and what RPM is it turning?

Thank You
Wingmaster

Yeah, Kevin Frith put together a kit using a copy of my plate. If you want to save a few bucks, get the motor posted above and a plate from me for $25.

I put this one together, on the cheap, a couple years back.
I used a scrap piece of diamond plate, got the above mentioned motor and wired it all into the original electrical box and switches so that it worked when you turned the original handle so that it was just like it used to work on the island. The bell dings on the gallon and it all resets with the original handles.
I left it running at a car show/swap meet and every time the bell dinged, heads would whip around!
So much more fun than a pump that just sits there!
