The only thing I can read on it are "Union Mfg. Co., New Britain, Conn. It is about 20" from top to bottom. Thanks in advance for any help!

looks like an old syphon pump used on boats and such to pump water. looks like it has been modified some. It could be and air pump also. I could also be way off base smile
