I picked this up at an auction a while ago. I think it is something for a radial engine, but I’m not sure.
Any info appreciated
Thanks ...

Here's the Wikipedia information on Crouse-Hinds. Looks like they specialized in traffic lights, controllers and such.

Definitely not a radial engine part. It is surely electrical use of some kind. You can still buy these bulbs at Home Depot and Lowes. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Ive restored a few crouse-hinds traffic lights, one I had for sale here on oldgas not too long ago. They made all kinds of very industrial lights, for marine, airports, railroad crossing, whatever you can think of really. Made a lot of beefy explosion proof stuff too. It looks like Crouse-Hinds was purchased by Eaton but it still is its own seperate division selling lighting stuff. I'd call them up and give them the model number, might get lucky and its in their old database or something.

Thanks for the replies. I assumed it may have been something to do with a radial engine, because it was next to one being worked on. I’ve searched the numbers on it, with no results. I do think it is aviation or airport related.
