I just bought my first gas pump today at hershey. I believe it says Wayne on the tag. Does anyone know the age or any other interesting info on it. Thanks, Jacob

Looks like a Wayne 400. Made in 1959. Pumps are like rabbits they multiply fast. Richard

Jacob,

30 years ago I decided to invest my money in petroliana/gaspump literature. I felt If could preserve a great deal of information and offer it to people like your self who wouldn't mind having some information on a pump that they found and would not care about purchasing literature about the pump they found. A few here have criticized me for wanting to cover the $20,000 I spent on what I fell is largest collection of gas pump literature. Over the last 30 years I have just directed people to my website (which has over 12,000 images devoted to this hobby), not asking anyone for anything. Look at the pictures, if you want more information, yes I do charge something for this, just as someone charges for the next map they find.

Go to my website and enjoy yourself: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/wayne%20420-1959.htm

This will take you directly to the pump you have just purchased. If you want to look at all the things this hobby is about start at the beginning of my site: www.petrocollect.com
