Keep till I croak! Just had a Professional restoration & it is MINT. Got this globe with a child's quality paint job. No brainer...get restored. I won't ever sell this one. Wanted one for last 25yrs. Wife coaxed me into purchase. Been peddling my smalls to pay the house back for the purchase. It was worth it to us! Will anyone give me a clue what it is worth? This will ease petrol tensions here!!

If not too much hassle for you, could we see a photo of your flame lit up? John

Wow, that's a tough picture!! Looks nice in person but pics make it look funky. Maybe in a well lit area a pic will look better. Here goes anyway.

Excellent-looking restoration, Rick. Thanks for doing the photo of your illuminated flame. Seems like any problems will show up, when a "restored" globe (or flame) is lit. John

I have been watching the prices on these, and they seem to be holding in the $1200 to $1500 range for near perfect examples. Yours being an original repaint, I would guesstimate the value to be in that $800 to $1000 range. Hope this helps.

Thanks Kevin, I was guessing around the 1k area. I feel good about that guesstimate! I'm going to have to come up with the perfect display for it. We do have room for another pump next to the air meter.
