I noticed on the 519 parts diagram, there is a part called a Veeder Meter. I circled it on the attached image. My 519 had nothing like a meter inside the skins. Anyone have a Veeder meter inside their 519? Anyone know anything about the 519 Veeder meter? Joe

That was pre Veeder-Root merger. Veeder made most of the Totalizers for the clocks. Most likely it was a Totalizer / Counter It looks like the same thing I have for a clock. Part #110 on your diagram. https://patents.google.com/patent/US634073A/en?q=Veeder&q=counter&q=Oct+3&before=priority:18991231&after=priority:18990101&oq=Veeder+counter+Oct+3+1899

There would need to be an access panel in order to read it

Your are probably spot on that the meter was a simple totalizer. There is a rectangular cutout in the skin, just under the small crank handle (raises the geared rack and lifts the sliding tube). There are no screw holes to mount a totalizer, but it could have been mounted to something inside the pump. Part #174 (2 of them) are listed as "Meter Trip Rods". I have never seen a totalizer on a 519, but I have only seen 5 or 6. Joe

I looked more closely at the the 519 parts diagram and the Veeder Meter was mounted to the bottom of the rack gear bracket. It was tripped by two pins that were mounted to the rack. I don't have any meter parts, so it is a mute point.

The drawing shows a mech. that would attach to the Counter, that would attach to the pump to read each gallon pumped.
