I have a true Maine barn find here with the original sandwich wood frame over this national tire service sign. It is painted metal. I haven’t cleaned it yet. Pic was pre-loading. I can’t find anything on this sign in my pricing resources. Does anyone have a year and value for this sign? Thank you...Jamie

Not sure on the painted tin ones...the porcelain arrows are north of $1000. Great sign.

The other has a thin coat of white paint on it for some unknown reason, but other than that it’s in great condition. Just need to strip with care

Jamie,
I wouldn't use paint stripper. Maybe scrub lightly with a magic eraser or something to see if that white paint will come off?

Ok thank you...will do some research as well and go slow. It’s a thin layer fortunately.

Paint stripper is fine for porcelain but not for painted surfaces.
