A friend has this Arco automotive paint ad clock that he has had for a long time .He doesn't no much about it and info Is scarce . Anyone seen it before or know of company history ? It’s neon. Tried to private message Potts but the contact link doesn’t work . Captcha Changes all lower case to upper so you can’t complete verification to pm on “contact” . Possibly he will see it as it is right up his alley .

I don't know much about them. Pretty sure they were in business in the 1960s and possibly more. I have 2 Arco auto paint electrics. One clock like this one, but incomplete. The other is reverse painted glass face florescent sign.

Thanks for the response I will pass it on. There must have not been a lot of their advertisement out there . Appears to me that his case has been replaced as the joints are pretty crude . Hopefully I can get him to join the site .

Originating since 1881 you would think as large as they were that they would have more advertising and product remaining out there .Over the years these are the only two instances where I have run across their products. Must be rare .
