Anyone know what this gizmo is and where it goes?

Looks like it could be a conduit bracket. Does conduit fit into the fork?

I looked back in my archived photos and the mystery part is not the conduit clamp. The conduit clamp is just that, a clamp.

I definitely have a clamp for the conduit, but I’ll investigate to see if there is a place for it in the conduit route. I was hoping that someone had one a 176 that knew exactly what it is and where it goes.

I believe it's a conduit clamp, fits a couple inches away from the light socket, after the conduit makes its final bend.
