Just curious if my blue ribbon quart is affiliated with blue ribbon from Wichita or the Whiting blue ribbon. Mine doesn’t have a city or state on it

There are several oil companies that used the name Blue Ribbon including True's oil/Rainbow Gasoline that I collect. My guess is that there couldn't be a copyright on the words Blue Ribbon so yours may be a general can that several small oil co. used??? Kinda like that 1lb grease can that I've seen with several different oil co. names printed on them.
