Alright...Peter (Wasatch Man) asked this question on another thread and it got me thinking...has anyone actually ever seen a Wayne 490 in person? I've seen a couple in old station photos but never in person. Not even a picture of one in a collection. In my mind I had remembered that the pair in the General Petroleum Museum were 490s but I went back through my pictures and they were 491s. Sooooooo...anyone?

You bet Peter. I just find it odd. Sooooo many 492s survived that you’d think one or two 490s are out there.

I think at best only a few survived , maybe none . I just know that I've never seen one in a collection never even heard of one anywhere and I guess so far no one else has. In my opinion it would be the ultimate pump to have way above and beyond all others .
