A friend owns a service station in an old Walter Teague style Texaco station and is ready to retire. We initially talked about restoring the building and moving my Texaco collection into it as a museum however he was offered a deal he couldn't refuse to sell the property and it will be demolished to make way for a townhouse building. He is negotiating with the buyer to let him keep any of the building materials to be repurposed. It still has all the beautiful exterior white porcelain panels and the green stripe panels as well. I looked at them yesterday and they have caulk between each panel. After the caulk is removed, can someone tell me how these panels are attached so that we can remove them? I don't want to damage a piece trying to figure it out, so was hoping someone can give me an idea how to remove them.. Thanks in advance!
