Does anyone remember seeing this? I am guessing it was a novelty/gag gift from the 1970's gas shortage

Todd...I don’t remember ever seeing the Persian Gulf oil bottle but I sure do remember the 1970 oil shortage. I remember waiting in line to put gas in my 1968 Mustang and not realizing that I did not need much. There was a “no topping off” rule. When I only got two gallons I thought I was going to get “beat up” by the guy behind me in line. I probably deserved that! Oh those were the good old days!
