No reason to think it’s not older. I would say from the 60’s, possibly even 70’s. I have a Ford Credit sign with the same Ford Family of Fine Cars saying. That being said I don’t think it’s a big dollar sign unless maybe your a Ford guy and have to have it.
Wanted early tin litho signage. petro, farm, auto, etc.

My thought, was it came from an Edsel dealer who may have sold Mercs and Lincolns, due to the colors and it says ford family of fine cars,

When I was working at a Ford dealer in the late 80's many of the keys to the cars had "Ford Family of Fine Cars" stamped on the keys.
Drive with Care and Buy Sinclair!! I buy Sinclair globes, signs, cans, ect.

Your suspicions are correct Tbirdgas, It's an Edsel era sign. Did you get it? I have one, but it's no where near that clean.

I've had it quite awhile now, just trying to reconfirm what I thought. Most people said it's fake, colors are all wrong, etc.

It's hard to tell the exact colors from that pic, it's a little far away and the lighting is pretty bad. The grommets look right, no makers mark. Any chance yours is available? Just noticed the paint on one edge is starting to flake on mine, it's been hanging in my barn for years.
