Hello. I am a new member to this site. I would like to find out the value of a visible gas pump that I have. My deceased husband had started to restore it, so I believe all the pieces are here, except for the globe. Am I in the right forum to post pictures, and find out the value of it?

Welcome to Oldgas. A posting in the Petroliana Value Questions with a photo would help you with your question. Good luck!

Regards, Jim

I collect gas pump salt and pepper shakers
and the plastic coin banks made by AVSCO.

These are the first 4 pictures of 15 that I took of the gas pump. The parts are all in separate pictures. I’m not sure how to post them all together.

You say you don’t have the globe, do you mean you don’t have the glass cylinder that fills up with gas? Or you don’t have the advertising globe that goes on top?(Texaco, Sinclair, gulf etc etc). Not having the glass cylinder will effect value a lot!

I have the glass cylinder, although there is a small chip on one end. I do not have the advertising globe.

Looks like the cylinder is original and in pretty good shape. That chip shouldn't hurt the value much. I would guess that's a $1300-1500 pump as it is. Really just needs assembled and painted from what I can see.

Most everything has been painted, but the skin did get a little nicked up when he put it in the corner. I’m not sure why he had the other parts painted brown - maybe that was his color scheme.

It could be his color scheme, or it may be primer and they didn’t get a coat of paint yet. Nice pump.

By the way, it’s a Wayne, model 615.
