My wife's grandparents passed away recently - leaving a collection of early petroliana and early cars. They have a lot going on so I offered to help identify some of the items from the collection. Your forum has already been a big help - thank you. We are trying to help establish what some of the items are, what their condition is, and if they have value. I would hate to see her grandfathers collection sold without all of the info on the items.

This Wayne 615 (?) visible pump has been sitting outside of his shop for a few years. What questions do we need to answer before it could be sold? Are there internals/electric that need to be present/working/etc? I am assuming anything that is fragile is a reproduction. Where is the best place to sell something like this? Based on what I saw on this forum, I am guessing this is about a $1,500 pump? I appreciate the advice very much.

1 important question is the cylinder glass or plastic? Looks like glass from here. If glass is original then it’s worth more than $1500. Your post will probably be moved to the petrolina vale section...... it’s the place for value questions

Another thing that would determine value is if the globe lenses are authentic or reproduction. Hard to tell in that picture.

Steve, I sent you a message. Please click on the blinking envelope at the top right corner of your screen.

Thanks,
Steve

ps. By the way, you are correct... it is a Wayne 615

Pump is worth 2000 dollars if cylinder is good.

Thanks for the replies and messages - it was a huge help. I saw the pump today and I think the cylinder is plastic but I am not 100%.

You guys have a cool community - I enjoyed dropping in!👍

Nice pump, I maybe wrong but I don’t think they make blue tint plastic cylinders. I’m sure someone will chime in.

Like less says, it looks like glass to me from here, but I’ve been wrong before.
