Hello!
I’m new to the forum and have a question that was hoping somebody with a blue book could help me with. I recently purchased a restored gilbarco gas pump and I’m trying to determine the year. The model is a 996-1W. Serial # 13921. Any help or info is appreciated!

Welcome to the OG forum. Based on what I see in the Blue Book, it looks like 1948 was the first year for the 996 model and the SN for that year started at 10417 and ended at 18444. Assuming the production was consistent for the entire year, which is highly unlikely, that would be about 669 pumps made per month, suggesting your pump was made about the first week of the 5th month. But this is just a WAG based on a lot of assumptions w/o much supporting data.

@UpNorthNeil - Appreciate the information and that gets me close enough! We'll call it an early to mid year 1948 Gilbarco 996. Thank you!
