Hi, I won a Martin and Schwartz model #80 gas pump in a raffle (at least that’s what I think it is).
Not planning on restoring it, going to turn it into a storage cabinet for oil in the garage. Came with the plastic lettering for the top and I plan on buying a repro globe of some kind for the top. Plan on spraying with an encapsulator to keep the patina, putting some cabinet wheels on the bottom, and lining the inside with wood rails and shelves unless someone has a better/easier idea.
Gutted the “computer”(?) and other internals to get rid of as I won’t be needing them and that was really the reason I came to this site to see if someone wanted them…

Welcome Gordy, IMO, that script top is a pretty desirable top for the MS 80 certainly worth $500 if it is metal, straight and the inserts are useable. I do not believe MS 80s with the script tops were used with a globe. If a globe is what you are after, I am sure you could sell that script top and buy a regular top for the pump and have hundreds left over. Again IMO, I would keep the script top and see if it doesn't grow on you. Neil

We are going to run electric to it to light it up. It looks like someone at some point had something on top of it as there are mounting holes. The only stuff I’m not keeping are the things inside like the “computer”, brackets, etc.

Welcome to Oldgas. Good luck with your pump!
Regards, Jim
I collect gas pump salt and pepper shakers and the plastic coin banks made by AVSCO.
