Finally picked up my Vanguard 455 out of Colorado. What an unusual and rare pump. It's in pretty decent shape. Need to do a few things to finish it. One ad glass is damaged so I may have to have one fabricated as finding an original may be tough. Anyone have one of these pumps in their collection? Made 1958-61

A friend of mine has one. I was with him when he picked it up. Looks just like yours. I would guess it is from the same guy. He had a few of them and it was in Colorado.

Nice looking and rare pump I assume. What is the red indicator light? Is that a pilot light to show the pump is on?

I don’t like new pumps, but would really like one of those!

I think the red indicator light was to show it was running or on.

Ok. Never seen that before. But it makes sense.

I bet people thought that was the future when that was first installed. Could you please take pictures of it with the face off? I have always wondered how the meter interacts with the computer on these.
