Can anyone tell me if this is a period correct pump plate. It is about 8 inches in diameter. Thanks.

looks good to me. This went below or above the brand of gasoline; or just on the face of the pump door.

Heres one as found in the wild with that sign in place on the side panel. Urs is a repro as it doesnt have the stainless steel grommets, sorry

I believe they all had a hyphen in anti knock

The 'EGC' logos had the hyphen in Anti-Knock.
The later 'EC' versions did not.

I was curious to sit back and watch this thread and see what the comments were. When I posted my plate exactly like the one in question a few years ago I was told it was a reproduction. The person I bought mine from told me it was an original and removed from a unmolested pump. With the weathering on the back of mine I still feel it's an original, but due to the hole placement I was told it was a repro without a doubt.......who the heck knows anymore, lol?! Darin
