Just bought this American 902. Notice that the ID plate indicates that it was a military gas pump. Going to restore it back to OD colors. Does anyone remember what decals or lettering were on these pumps, like no smoking etc. Any one else have a 902 with this Id plate? A shot it the dark does anyone have a face plate for it I only have one. Thanks Richard

I have the identical pump.
With the identical I.D. plate (which is huge!).
I dont-'t know if these were specifically military - or just government use.
I don't think they came with 2 faceplates as mine has a factory block-off panel that mounts to the back of the 'back' door.
And mine is 100% original right down to it never having been repainted once it left the factory.
The VR units are unique too - note the arrangement of the wheels - gallons are where the total cost would be and no total cost at all.
Later . . .
