I had a potential seller send me photos of these old Texaco pumps and said they would take offers. I’d like to have them and was wondering what to offer. The two globes would come with the pumps. I’ve never bought any pumps and figured I’d ask here first. Thanks for any help.

The pumps are a Wayne 505, a Martin & Schwartz 80 and a Bowser 585 or 595. (Or similar models). The fire chief globe is a repop and the Sky Chief appears to be as well.

If you got the 505 for $500, the 80 for $700 and the 595 for $600, you’d be doing good. Those are the prices at which you got a decent deal. I would have him throw the globes in for free, if they are repop. A new repop globe is $100. If you got all three pumps, both globes and have him throw in the lubester for under $2000, I think you’d be doing okay.

This is just my opinion,
Steve

You’re very welcome. Retail prices are about 25-30% higher than what I quoted.
