I have had this pump for almost 20 years and just got started putting it back together. There is a lever about 6 or 7 inches long that protrudes out of the gas pump by the fuel delivery pipe. I can't remember how the linkage hooks up or what it controls. The linkage is inside the pump. Does anyone have a photo of a Fry 73 with the linkage intact ?

Joe

Probably linkage for the Internal dump valve. I don't think the 83 has an external drain back valve.

Yes I think you are right about that. I just don't see how it goes together. I found a few pictures on the web that better illustrate the lever and the external drain back. but the dump mechanism is inside where I cant see it.
