Hey guys, what happened to pump of the month? I remember when I first started coming here there were POM's. I like seeing your globes, cans and trinkets but nothing beats GAS PUMPS! (Hubba... step away from the cans!)
Lets make this month an easy one, lots of posts!
Lets make it CLOCKFACES! Any make or model, all clockfaces! Restored and Unrestored! I'll post my meger collection when I get home.

Now we are Talking! This is something I can sink my teeth into. Yes, its true, everything I have is For Sale, but only so I can afford to buy more clockface pumps, because that is What I Collect. Someday I will fill in the spaces between them with globes and signs.

Bennett 150, I traded a SSE Visible for this one, my first Clockface.

Wayne 800, this one was less than a mile from my house, it took about 5 years to buy, but its a keeper!

Bowser 300R This one came from Swift Current Saskatchewan. I had two of these, just sold one, cause who needs two?

This pair of 730's came from an Estate just North of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, there were also 10 or 12 15" PEPCO Globes, I didn't have the money to buy them all , only $200ea, but they were in terrible condition, the paint was flaking off every lens except the one pair I did buy. Anyway, the Wayne 866's also came with this package, it was a great Road Trip!

This is one of the nicest 850's I'd ever seen, I was very happy to get it as I'd wanted one forever and was patient for the right one to come along rust free, I picked it up on a roadside turnout in Kennewick Washington. (Via Frederick Maryland, and yes you may know who I'm talking about, but he is no friend of mine)

Now, this is a pump, the Greatest pump there is, in my book anyway, the Canadian Ecometer. I have wanted one of these forever, I've had 3 slip through my fingers the last few years, I finally sank my teeth into this one last month, its on a truck right on its way to its new home in BC, all the way from Quebec.

Gasmelincelr sent in these images: "Before and after pictures of my G&B 106. I located and restored this pump myself. It was a lot of work."

It doesn't get any better than this. Finding a pump like that in the wild and restoring it yourself. A pump to be proud of.

Morning everyone.

Here are some shots of Chris's Clockfaces.

First the BA pump . . .

Next the Shell pump . . .

And lastly, the two he has yet to paint . . .

I'm sure that as soon as Chris logs on, he will fill you in on the history and future of these pumps.

Later . . .

Jim

Thanks Jim for posting the pic's , Both of these pumps were done for freinds of mine up in Canada, The owner of the B-A pump Jim Moffat, has some great storys about when he was a kid hanging around his dads B-A station , I had a few Molson Beers while jim told me of life in his dads garage. The two Bennetts outside will be restored in Red Indian colors . special thanks to T-Way for the paint job's on both of these pumps , and Kim at Service Station Nastalgia for getting me the stuff I needed in the resteration of these pumps. Thanks again T-Way

Here are a couple more pics from Elvis. Where I live we call these Orchard pumps, because Fruit growing is the major Farm activity, what do you call them where you are from? Like the 4 ad glass Bennetts, on the Prairies they are Grain Elevator pumps, and on the Coast they are Lighthouse Pumps.

Thanks for posting those Lance. Down here we just call these beauties... RARE! ha ha ha. I figured if no one else was going to post their clockfaces I would have to show my whole collection.
I might part with one of these, or maybe weld them together into a double display... NOT!
MORE CLOCKFACES GUYS! Lets see 'em!
