I go through Los Alamos frequently, and almost always slow down to look at these 2 stations. It drives my wife crazy, but she tolerates it. The visible in the lower picture is a Lacer Hallet.

Poor Man, the blue pump on the left is a Bennet model 756. I am very "intimate" with this particular pump.

Just how "intimate" Neal? Never mind, I don't want to know.

By the way dfranchi, next time drive over highway 154 through Solvang and I'll show you three more stations on your way north before you get to Los Alamos, that will really drive your wife crazy.

(Thanks Doc for helping me squeeze that monster down to size. Hope that helps those of you with dial up service.)

If you're talking about my gigantic picture I apologize. Tried to reduce it about 5 times but couldn't get it to re-load smaller. Maybe Doc can help us out.

YA GOTTA LOVE THESE 3.....

AN ERIE MODEL 70(?) NOT FAR FROM ME AT A RETIRED FARM....PLANTLIFE HAS WON THE BATTLE!

THIS NATIONAL A38 WAS IN A WOODED AREA NEAR A BARN (TO THE LEFT) THAT WAS SO OVERGROWN AND ALMOST FORGOTTEN UNTIL 2002 WHEN IT WAS ALL CLEARED ONE DAY WHEN I WASN'T AROUND FOR.....A PARKING LOT! (OUCH!!)

THESE TOKHEIM PUMPS ARE EARLY 30'S DOUBLE SIDE-BY-SIDE WITH A DECO METAL STRIP CLOSING THE GAP BETWEEN THEM.
ONCE SITTING PHYSICALLY ROADSIDE IN EAST HAMPTON...THEY ARE NOW GONE!

Poor Man, intimate as in every square inch of the Benny 756, inside and out. Not intimate as in wine glasses and Barry White playing softly in the background.

I love these pics so far, keep up the good work guys!!

It's perfectly okay to romance your pumps. After all the money we spend on them and all of the time caressing that sheet metal you can't help but feel that "special" connection. Just look at the Pink Princess Pump by Pollyman (ROTW), what a babe!
