The good news is Sign Of The Month is back! The bad news is I don't know much about signs. I'll do my best as host of SOTM but I'm going to rely heavily on your participation.
We'll revisit some companies that have been covered before, but we'll try to keep things interesting and informative.
This month we will cover any painted, porcelain,or plastic Gulf signs. Banners and posters can be posted too.
Be sure to include as much info as you can. Things like dimensions, whether the sign is single or double sided, years used, etc.
Post 'em if ya got 'em! I'll post some this evening.

OK, here's my only GULF sign so far. I imagine it's fairly new from a rebranded station. It's 4'x4' and two sided. I was at a bulk plant and the owner gave me the lenses only there was no housing. I just finished the housing and used two 4' fluorescent bulbs.

This sign was used from the 1940's through the early 1960's.  Thanks to Aumann's for the use of their image.

here are a few that I own  0ld 42" dia. hanging in my barn ....wish I had a better one.......  6 foot dog ear....  mint NOS pump plates.... that's it Paddy

I have a couple Gulf signs in my collection. There are a lot of different Gulf pump plates and a lot of them are still reasonably priced.
