A few days late as things have been busy. This month I would like to do Union Oil, Union 76 and Unocal. This company is still in business so if anyone is out and about take some shots of what the stations look like today in your part of the country. As always please include as much information as possible and don't worry about duplications if it is your collection. Anyone that needs help posting please send me the pictures or anyone else that can help post. We are all in this together and together we shall stand. Thanks in advance and Dick Bennett you better get busy. Tom Stover get that camera fired up. Ted

This sign above was at the last Santa Rosa gas bash. A few scratches but fairly rare. Porcelain sign about 26" round or so. Had a pretty heavy price on it. Remember those stations with the long canopies? Ted

Ted, the Minute Man Service sign is 30" diameter. I think it had an asking price of $4,000 w/some touch-up resto. work. I'm in the remodel process in the shop. I'll do my best to get you some photo's.

I'M LIKIN' THAT LITTLE MINUTE MAN SIGN. SO I CLEANED HIM UP A BIT. LOOKS LIKE A FUTURE SIGN PAINTING PROJECT! MAYBE I SHOULD GO DARK & RICHER ON THE ORANGE?

Thanks Tom as I knew you would have caught the price on that minute man sign. Thanks John and Dick for helping out. Dick I bet that Union Oil Company sign you have fell of the fence at the refinery. Ha Ha. Below is a Union 76 six foot porcelain sign. Ted

Ted,
I spent an hour last night looking for the picture of UNION NO SMOKING signs I posted about a year ago.

The SANTA PAULA, CALIF. sign is 1 of 12 that the local distributor had made for his trucks. I got this one from his son-in-law [he took over the biz in 1950].
