Hey Scott, I checked my quarts I don't have an orange and black Phillips 66 imperial quart and don't remember ever seeing one. I do have a black and orange Pacific 66 imperial quart. Pacific oil containers look identical to the Phillips oil containers except instead of Phillips 66 they have Pacific 66. Pacific 66 was based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I belive at one time they were a Phillips 66 subsidiary and for marketing reasons could not sell under the Phillips name.
Do you have any Phillips 66 imperial quarts?

Joe, I know of the Pacific 66 of which you are speaking. A friend of mine has a Phillips 66 black and orange imperial qt and I will take a picture of it the next time I am down their. If you ever run across a couple I would be interested.

Hello, my first post, just registered here, very interesting site! I know I'm in a discussion about quart cans and I don't know much about them, but I have a 10lb (Gallon???) oil can for PACIFIC 66 Lubricants, a product of Pacific Petroleums Ltd of Calgary Alberta. I'm looking for information on it to sell it. Any help you might provide in the way of information would be greatly appreciated. Are these larger cans collectable as well?

Hey dude, welcome to Oldgas. The Pacific grease tin is pretty common in these parts, the white tin would be worth about $20.00 and date from the 70's, the orange version is a little older and worth a few dollars more.

Thanks for the warm welcome Texacojoe. I appreciate the information. Your collection, by the way, is great. I've seen some EXTREMELY high prices on these at collector estate sales. Around here where I live, we don't have the same access to items that you obviously do. So when they're found at auctions, they go high.

oh and by the way ... my can is half red/half white with a solid red lid. It's condition is so nice, it makes me think it must be a repro. Are repros common? I'm going to put it up on ebay, as I don't have am active collection at this time. Don't want to be t'ing anyone off with a repro.
